Brendan Rooney
| Barrister
Barrister with experience across Ireland and Belgium. Brendan holds a Law and French degree from Trinity College Dublin and an LL.M in European Union Law from the College of Europe.
Alongside his practice, he is involved in academic legal research and has published a number of peer-reviewed papers. He has over five years’ experience working with individuals at a high level, bringing a clear, structured, and analytical approach to complex legal issues.


Dr Sonja Heppner, LLM (Dubl.)
| Solicitor
Sonja is a solicitor specialising in international arbitration and litigation, currently practising as a Disputes Associate in Australia. She holds an LL.M. and a PhD from Trinity College Dublin and is admitted in England & Wales (practising) and Ireland (non-practising).
Alongside her practice, Sonja taught International Dispute Resolution at Trinity College Dublin and is an award-winning published author, having received the Rory Brady Prize for Excellence in International Conflict Management. She continues to publish legal articles, with a particular focus on developments in Ireland and Australia.
Zuhdi Emara
| Trainee Solicitor (qualifying 2026)
Zuhdi is a trainee solicitor in Dublin with a strong academic and practical background in legal studies and corporate transactions. He holds an LL.B from Maynooth University and an LL.M in International and European Business Law from Trinity College Dublin, and is currently completing his professional training with the Law Society of Ireland.
He is known for his approachable manner and ability to break down legal concepts in a clear and structured way. He previously served as President of the Maynooth Law Society.


Morgiane Noel
| PhD Candidate
Morgiane is a PhD candidate in European and International Law at Trinity College Dublin. She holds an LL.M in International and European Business Law and a Master’s in European Studies, and is actively engaged in academic research and teaching.
Alongside her doctoral work, she lectures at Trinity College Dublin and has developed legal and policy experience across Ireland, Belgium, and Luxembourg, including roles within EU institutions and international legal practice. Her work is closely connected to EU policy and climate-focused initiatives, and she is the founder of the Women in Research Network (Ireland).
Natasha Richardson
| PhD Candidate
Natasha is a PhD candidate in law at Maynooth University, with a research focus on Land Law and Bioethics. She holds an LL.B and a Master of Literature, and is currently working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Maynooth University.
Alongside her teaching, Natasha has supported law students across university modules and professional exams, helping them build a clear and practical approach to studying law and applying legal principles effectively. She has also been involved in mooting and advocacy, supporting students in developing practical legal skills alongside their studies.


Catherine Forristal
| Judical Assistant
Catherine is a Judicial Assistant to the Court of Appeal. She holds an MSc in Law & Society: Governance & Global Development from Leiden University, where she completed a pre-PhD programme, and an LL.B in Law and French from Trinity College Dublin.
Her work explores the relationship between law, public institutions and society, bringing a thoughtful and analytical approach to legal study and problem-solving.
Aditi Shiral
| LLM Graduate
Aditi is a Legal Executive with experience in litigation, including insurance and personal injury matters. She holds an LL.B from Government Law College, Mumbai, and an LL.M in International and European Business Law from Trinity College Dublin, and has successfully completed all FE1 examinations.
In her current role, she works on insurance and tort litigation matters, including drafting pleadings and supporting casework.


Hernan Perez McKay
| First Class Law Graduate
Hernan is a First Class law graduate of University College Dublin. He worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at UCD, delivering tutorials and small-group sessions in core legal subjects, where he developed strong legal analysis and reasoning techniques.
Alongside this, he has a particular interest in Chinese law and language, having studied at Renmin University of China as part of his degree. He is currently working as a legal assistant and serves as Joint Editor-in-Chief of the UCD Law Review.
Robin M Jowett
| Final-Year Law Student
Robin is a final-year law student at University College Dublin, in the final stages of completing his Bachelor of Civil Law. He has secured a training contract with a leading Dublin law firm and has gained experience through internships and insight programmes at top commercial firms.
Alongside his studies, he has held leadership roles including Auditor (President) of a UCD student society and Editor-in-Chief of the UCD Law Review, and has been actively involved in mooting and advocacy.


Bart Jaszczyk

Bart founded Law Room to provide structured, practical support for law students progressing through university, professional exams and the early stages of their legal careers.
He is a graduate of University College Dublin where he studied law.
